Memorial Day Weekend Trail Conditions
by Spike on May 27, 2016, 04:41 PM

It looks like the weather may get in the way of weekend biking plans. The rain looks to be spotty, if you live near a trail and have admin status to update trail conditions please give advice and updates as frequently as possible.

On a busy weekend like this we will all be looking for a dry place to ride, if your trail is dry let us know or save us the trip if it is wet.

Thank you for the updates!

Our premier event is fast approaching, and we have many shirts to fill!  Many jobs to choose from, and you can work around the race schedule if you are racing.  This is an important fundraiser for CORP, and a great chance to show off our work.  We need your help:  please visit the signup form for more information and sign up!

If you were waiting to make it is not going to be wicked hot or raining all weekend, you can sign up now; the forecast looks great!  Mid 70s and sunny.

Update: Cross Plains Singletrack - May Meeting
by Gary S on April 18, 2016, 10:07 PM
Update:  Thanks for everyone’s input on the Cross Plains trail proposal!  We received a lot of really good information which has helped to create a convincing proposal.  Attached is the submitted document that will be discussed at next week’s Parks and Recreation Committee meeting.  The trail system that is being proposed shows approximately 6 miles of new trails through varied terrain.

Next week’s meeting will be an opportunity for the CORP community to show their support.  It would be great to have everyone who is interested join in the discussion.  Our goal is to drive home the benefits of mountain biking to local communities, provide some background on mountain biking enthusiast, and speak to CORP’s commitment to trail construction and management.  We would love to hear in-person examples of all of these points.

Meeting Info
Date: Monday, May 16, 2016
Time:  6:00pm
Location:  Rosemary Garfoot Public Library, 2017 Julius Street, Cross Plains, WI 53528
Agenda:  To be posted at www.cross-plains.wi.us, under Parks and Recreation Committee

We hope to see you there!
