June meeting recap.
by imwjl on June 26, 2015, 07:19 AM
Thank you to those who joined us last night, and a big thanks to our chapter leaders and regional IMBA rep Michelle Barker.

The day illustrated exactly why you should be a contributing member. Michelle was in town helping trail stewards, land managers, training and joining a ride to celebrate new trails. Work, the politics that gets you trails, riding, live music, and local beer. Please be a link in that chain. It's what makes your riding opportunities and great events happen. www.madcitydirt.com/join.

It was a pleasant surprise for some attendees to learn Pleasant View is WAY more than a pump track. Attendees rode the miles of new trail and enjoyed live music, food and local beverages afterward. Give the PV trail stewards Aaron and Ron and hand because they've got so much more to come.

Stay tuned for some vital late season trail work announcements. The Seminole trails and then Pleasant View are scheduling machine work and will need that vital hand finishing work afterward. Machine work is still a lot of work. Your volunteer time for these events will be turbo boost for the quality and amount of riding available.

Watch the calendar for news on our July meeting and consider the CORP VP leadership position open. We will be approving changes to our bylaws, electing a new officer and moving this ball forward.

Thanks again for attending, and we hope to see you soon.

2015 Meeting Schedule
by skankingbiker on December 28, 2014, 08:09 PM
For 2015, CORP is returning to regularly scheduled monthly Board meetings.  Meetings are every 4th Thursday of the month at the Fitchburg community center from 7-10pm in the Prairie View Room, unless otherwise noted.  The meetings are open to members at large.  We will have a Q & A session at the end of each meeting.  Also, if you would like something to be discussed or would like to address the Board, please e-mail one of the Board members and we will put you on the agenda. We will publish an agenda at least 1 week before each meeting. We hope this format will encourage more participation and more transparency.

Next meeting for 2015 is tentatively set for Thursday, June 25.  Likely at a different location, and likely including a ride.

Hope to see you there.
