June 3 and The Battle of CamRock will be here before you know it.  The race is traditionally CORP’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the largest race in the WORS Series, the best run race around, and a great way to spend the day outside with a bunch of folks who love mountain biking.  It takes alot of volunteers to pull off, and there are jobs for everyone.  There are no special skills needed, if you are racing you can schedule shifts around your race, and you get a free t-shirt and lunch!  Learn more and sign up here: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4eada922a7ff2-battle3

Dates are changing!  Winter won't let go, and the ground is still too wet to work.  Check the schedule before you head out.
Hey, it's time to spruce up the trails for the season!  There is work for people of all abilities, stay for as long as you like.   We provide the tools, just bring yourself, a sturdy pair of shoes, and gloves.  Your summer riding is that much more enjoyable knowing that you helped make it happen.

We're making a sincere effort to recruit help for several needs and keep these updated.   The more people step up, the better job we can do to grow mountain biking in the area, build more riding opportunities, and keep up with the ones we have. Please consider giving back to CORP by volunteering your skills and time.

Check our Help Wanted for details, and email info@madcitydirt.com with any questions or offers.

CORP and Madison Parks recognize the lack of an off-road cycling infrastructure within the city, and we have been working together to do something about it!   CORP’s  proposed solution is the  Madison Bicycle Adventure Trail System (MBATS).  Curious??  It's a RAD concept if you live in Madison and want to ride, rather than drive, to larger outlying trail systems, or if you'd like a place in your neighborhood for a quick ride.   Visit (http://www.madcitydirt.com/index.php?topic=3885.0l) to learn about our vision and join the discussion.

If you like the idea, have a suggestion for a park near you, and want to make this happen, then take action.  Let us know, more importantly let your alder and the Parks Department know (links are located in URL above).  The more support we can show for the idea, the faster it will move forward.  #MBATS

The attached map (interactive version here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1kunt4s3dTyMeZObdQIr5nv5kY2M&ll=43.05889541297477%2C-89.41921646196289&z=11) shows facilities with the physical potential for off road cycling; no concrete plans exist at any sites.  As the plan develops, we will assess sites more thoroughly and determine the routing of the system.
