ClosedThe trails are closed to bikes and foot traffic due to early spring (muddy) conditions.
Conditions are generally updated only when there's a change. Subscribe to the forum thread to be notified of trail updates via email. Help year-round by keeping the trails clear of sticks and loose rocks, and reporting obstacles and other issues. Please carry out anything you carry in. Pets must stay on-leash, and their waste leaves with their owner. Check the WDNR website and follow all WDNR guidelines.

CautionCold and damp. Use good judgment. Please turn around If your tires are packing up with mud or you’re leaving a rut. The wooden features can get pretty slippery if wet.
Please use good judgment to decide if the park is okay to ride.

Coming SoonCORP is working with the state DNR to develop a 8.6 mile single-track mountain bike trail system in New Glarus Woods State Park, located one mile south of New Glarus on State Highway 69. IMBA Trail Solutions designed this new trail system in conjunction with CORP and the state DNR.
Fundraising and construction will take place in phases, with timing dependent on funding and DNR approvals. The total project cost is projected to be $375,000.
The first phase is a one-mile beginner trail that will start this April and be adaptive-friendly. Remaining phases will be professionally built, as funding allows. Look for scheduled workdays soon.
Your donation by clicking on the button on the homepage will help trails get built sooner!
