ClosedThe trails are closed to bikes and foot traffic due to early spring (muddy) conditions.
Conditions are generally updated only when there's a change. Subscribe to the forum thread to be notified of trail updates via email. Help year-round by keeping the trails clear of sticks and loose rocks, and reporting obstacles and other issues. Please carry out anything you carry in. Pets must stay on-leash, and their waste leaves with their owner. Check the WDNR website and follow all WDNR guidelines.

Please use good judgment to decide if the park is okay to ride.

OpenOpen. There may be some soft spots from today's trail work. There is a tree partially down on R&R trail, but can ride past it.
Please be respectful of the private property at the top of the hill and stay on trail.
We are now up to 4 miles of single track! For some additional mileage park in the lot at Main St and Lagoon St and follow the Zander Park Boardwalk to the MTB trailhead.

OpenTrails are good. The trailhead has moved to the southwest corner of the parking lot, by the pumptrack (see below). Please don't ride on the old access trail, which has had grass seed and straw placed on it.
The pump track is always open, but please continue to stay off the seeded areas until the grass is established.
Trailhead move is complete, more details
here.

Coming SoonCORP is working with the state DNR to develop a 8.6 mile single-track mountain bike trail system in New Glarus Woods State Park, located one mile south of New Glarus on State Highway 69. IMBA Trail Solutions designed this new trail system in conjunction with CORP and the state DNR.
Fundraising and construction will take place in phases, with timing dependent on funding and DNR approvals. The total project cost is projected to be $375,000.
The first phase is a one-mile beginner trail that will start this April and be adaptive-friendly. Remaining phases will be professionally built, as funding allows. Look for scheduled workdays soon.
Your donation by clicking on the button on the homepage will help trails get built sooner!

OpenThe trails are in good shape. Dry and fun. There's a tree down on the inner loop with logs stacked next to it making it rideable and challenging too.
