Landowski TrailWorx is improving the Erdman Ski Trail that connects Blackhawk to Pleasant View, by adding easy switchbacks and replacing the steep up/downhill. This trail enters Pleasant View just north of where the mountain bike trail leaves the prairie and enters the woods. Dan Erdman has given Blackhawk members permission to use this trail to go from Blackhawk to Pleasant View.
Check out the picture from yesterday. This will make it much easier to ski in the winter and will provide an easy bike trail in the summer.
We could use a few extra hands today (Sunday), raking out small rocks and branches.
I'll have tools (rakes/clippers) out there from noon to 2 PM today. Come out to the trail if you can (just bring work gloves).

Editor's notes:
1. There is a late season problem of too many non-members riding at Blackhawk and abusing the privilege Dan's given members. Membership starts as low as $25 a year.
2. Snow biking is on the Blackhawk board agenda next week. How's that for reason to get out and help finish this trail, and to help enforce membership. A non-tow membership is very much worth considering.
3. Attn: Strava users. Please be aware that your Strava use can show crossing the ski jump outruns - an ultimate no no - and your riding at Blackhawk without being a paid member.
