"The trails are always closed"

If this is your first thought about mountain biking at Blue Mound State Park, here's your chance to do something about it, AND eat FREE food off the grill, AND ride the trails afterwards!  Volunteers also get FREE park admission for the day, just stop by the office and talk to the staff.

For the past few years the trail stewards have been hard at work rerouting sections of trail that stay wet long after it rains, sections that keep the trails closed when others are open.  They have also been making sections more sustainable, approachable, and MORE FUN!

But there is a simple formula:  Volunteers = real progress, in hours and not weeks.

The last two years of workdays got rained out.  Don’t miss this opportunity to help out CORP's biggest trail system. For more information and last minute updates, follow the event on Facebook.  Thanks!
