Outback Filter
« on: June 05, 2012, 10:05 am »
Hey TTF folks, the roller filter feature heading into the Outback needs some love. The on ramp boards are broke and wobbly with exposed nails. Also the whole structure seems a bit shaky.

Cheers.

That thing was solid.  Could somebody have vandalized it?

I think its just well used. Wooden features need maintenance especially elevated ones. The wood shrinks over time and causes slack and wobble at times. The on ramp just looks like its just getting used and the board broke off.

I rode it Sunday night, noticed the split board at the beginning, but the rest of the structure seamed as solid as ever.

I couldn't see that thing being wobbly anytime soon, now as for that one ladder bridge on area 51...

The Dragon's Back has been repaired and stiffened up. Couple of new boards. Some bracing. Better than new 8)

Ride on.
