Let's see a pic of this new rocket, Rich...

Had you come out for the morning torture session you could have snuck a peek :P Well, except it was completely dark out.

I'll grab a pic this evening.

I can attest that this bike does look awesome but does not make Rich faster FWIW. :) Good times this morning. Who is up for something around the east side on Thursday morning? I have no suggestions but if someone posts something we can make it so.

Looking for ride suggestions for something a little further east this time since that would be closer to those that have been showing up. It doesn't necessarily have to be a hill, a (1-3 miles) loop in a low traffic area would work for intervals.

Well no one spoke up so I'm going to be at the arb, 6am, one more time. I'll scout out some new locations further east for next week.

I'll be scouting out a more east-side friendly spot after work today, anyone interested in some morning punishment tomorrow? The weather looks a little iffy for 6am but the chance of rain has been decreasing.

Count me in man. I've been into punishing myself on a bicycle lately.

The route is Monona for this Thursday.  Leg busting quick climbs, fast pace lines with more saucy climbs.  Meeting at 6:00 a.m. in the parking lot of Rubins furniture store on Monona Drive.  So far we have 4 riders.
Here is a map of the route.

Which hill in the arboretum are you guys referring to?  I've run through there in the past, but can't recall any hill I'd consider for hill repeats.

I'd love to join you guys, but getting up at the crack of stupid to ride hills in the dark isn't on the top of my to do list.  Almost any other time of the day maybe....

How was the climb up to the WDATCP building?

It's not much but there is a rise in the middle that's enough to get the legs burning if you hit it hard enough.  the main appeal is the lack of traffic in the morning.  The ag building hill was a bit larger and more interesting because you can make a loop out of it, the tradeoff is more traffic and rougher roads which can be tricky in the dark.

It's been a little easier to wake up each time, and I'd rather do these rides in the morning and save the good stuff for the daylight.

Great ride this morning put together by Mr Dave Hill. Some nice burners to climb and overall nice high tempo ride. Even made it home to shower and head over the the Sun Print Cafe for breakfast. Its going to be a great rest of the day.  8)

It has been the craziest, most pain in the ass day in recent memory at work and I'm still all smiles. :)
