    January 30, 2016, 06:31 PM

What's anybody thinking for dates for a BALLS run this year?

Guessing my opinion doesn't matter but I'm voting for 4/30-5/1!

On a more serious note, our trail stewards, sponsor partners and land managers are all compiling and working out a list of dates and obligations to be published by our Feb meeting. I've added this to it. It is part of CORP history.

It would be awesome to fit everything in and not step on or hurt some serious obligations, tasks and happenings. When settled, I suggest advertising this to friends and partners we have afar.

I vote for 4/30-5/1 as well, as that extra week can make a big temperature difference. FWIW: Dairy Roubaix is April 16.

If it's that weekend I'm in.

Working every other weekend screws up a lot of fun riding!

    Unsupported B.A.L.L.S

Meet at Bennett's Country Club at 7am for a group breakfast and the worst bloody mary in town. This is the appropriate line to point out that this is not an official CORP event.

If you are even remotely easily offended by really offensive things then please skip Bennett's and wait at Bariques on PD where we will stop for a resupply at about 8am.

Overnight at Darlington, officially at the camp grounds but if you don't have the necessary gear there are hotels available nearby.

And I'll kick off the requisite gear conversation with a link to this great source of camping gear.

Bear I will shake your hand if you lug those things all the way to Darlington just to cook a hot dog.

This has been my BALLS unicorn. I have a good feeling about 2016 though.

Im thinking about getting in on this, would big apples be sufficient or am I better off with something knobblier?

Big apples, the widest you can fit, are a really great tire for this ride.
