    Two trees down blocking the trail on the long outside climb labeled more difficult 150 after the concrete bridge. Close to the beginning of the trail.

    how big are they, will they require a chainsaw?  If so, I might be able to get the Parks guys over there.  Let's see what Jeff suggests first.

    I'd say they are about 8" wide at widest. The one tree is maybe 25' long. For me I'd say it'd require a chainsaw. But I'm not very experienced in downed tree removal.

    I talked to the City about it yesterday, they are going to remove it soon. For now, consider it a cyclocross obstacle.

    I would say yes.  I really wanted to see the new trail and berms so I rode around 11 this am.  I walked a few sections that were just too slippery. All of the trails higher up were quite firm and very ridable. I think they will stay ridable all thru out the day. I would not ride the twisty trail or the new return loop. But everything else is in great shape.
