    Blue Mounds Packing

    December 24, 2013, 07:45 AM

Brian, Peter and I packed in Holy Schist last night with a temp -3 and dropping it was a bit brisk, still a great cross training hike with beverages :) Peter did chert dip Sunday and it is now well packed in by snowshoer's. We could use a little warm up to stiffen it up but, after last nights temp all the trails will be ride-able with chert dip being the best because of heavier traffic.

The park is extremely beautiful right now, make some time to get out on it!

Glad to hear it, thanks from everyone!

When you say all the trails are rideable, are you including Overload?

It looked fairly pounded down leading in to Over Lode. Not sure how far in the tracks go, I was on skis.

Sorry not all... the hills on overload make to many sections tough for snow biking so, we have decided just to try an maintain the big loop and hope enough snowshoers get it packed in for us.

We need to stay ahead of the snow, the more traffic we get the better, get out and ride!!

Seems like a reasonable plan, per my suggestion in a different thread.
