Has anyone tried setting up 3.8/120tpi Knards as 'ghetto' tubeless? I'm trying now without much luck... I'm wondering if it may be the wheels actually. I started with some Unholy Darryl's, drilled them out & did the 3 layers of gorilla tape over the rim strip routine - same way I did some Holy Darryl's w/Nates with great success. With the current try - when I get over 10psi, the beads start pissing like crazy. Even after 6oz of Stans (shaken like mad) they'll burp by just pushing down on the tire... Has anyone else tried this with any different results?
Forgot to mention too - Stans valves.
