Quarry Park riders, users,  diggers and the like.  Please pass this message on to all you see.    This is a short update on the status to QP and the city of madison.

The City is currently in a master planning phase with the park,  which means they are evaluating all user groups and the land itself.  The goal is to have a  usage plan for the park which will give legitimacy  for MTB riding in the park,  as of today and in the past its always been on a friendly hand shake.    This will be good as it will help us shape the park into ways we could not before and still allow us to keep the same vibe that has always been.

My purpose of this message.   CORP has been working with the city and is seen as the group that will help manage MTB riding there,  that is a good thing trust me.  With that CORP has been given ability to "MAINTAIN" current trails for safety purposes and keep in good shape.   There has recently been some digging by someone (most likely kids with time to kill) that is altering defined features and lines at the park.   This is not good so if you see this please stop them and explain,  now is NOT the time and their alterations are damaging.  They might not know this so lets inform.

Any questions let us know.   Thanks and please spread this word on this.  We have FIXED their doings but it takes work and time.

    Hey Man

Digging is on hold based on we are working with the city to make the park official within their master plan.  Right now only touch up and making it safe (flow) is what is being done.   Hopefully in the fall we will start to dig more, maybe spring of 2016?

Rides are sporadic but people are there all the time.  We used to have weekly rides but they ended up fizzling out.

Stay tuned to here to find out if we are having rides or digging.  This site is where we are trying to make it live
