    2 questions for tonight:
    1. Is the meeting point still CamRock Sport or is it moving since the creekside trails are closed?
    2. I'm not sure how early it gets dark in the woods right now.  Is a light a good idea?

We are for sure on for tonight ride baring any unexpected rain. Trails are perfect at CamRock right now! Really nice shape and ready to ride. All downed trees are removed. Only trails closed are the north two sections of Creekside, and they are drying fast.

A double of the post over on the General section:
This is weather dependent, as we want to make it a dedication and ride, with a little celebration of life as well. If the trails are closed we will reschedule.

Some may have seen by now the plaque on the re-worked entrance feature to The Outback. We have named the feature Man Down in a memorial to Justin Lenz. For those who did not know Justin, or know about him. He was a person that was getting involved with CORP through a lot of volunteer effort. He had particularly gotten involved with some of the big TTF Crew projects. Unfortunately his life, along with one of his good friends, was cut short by an avalanche in Colorado. Here is a short story on it:http://www.channel3000.com/news/at-least-one-skier-killed-in-a-co-avalanche-was-from-wis/24516376

We want to do a dedication of the feature that we have named in his honor. It will be on the Thursday Night Ride this week if the weather holds. As usual meet up at CamRock Sport at 6 bells. We will ride the trails to the feature. Then do a very short dedication. Then some more riding. There will be a little celebration of life after the ride either back at CamRock Sport or across the street at the CORP garage. Maybe both!

This ride will take place on 7/10 barring wet trails.

A great ride last night. A good group of folks out hitting the trails. And wait until you ride the new entrance to the Outback. That is some nice work by our famous TTF Crew (and associates) :D

Some folks started early and joined in. Some folks started late and joined in. Some found us by mistake. It was all good.

We rode so long by the time we got back the kitchen was closed. (Note: try to keep the ride under 2 hours) But CRS has the protein packs in the fridge which went over well. They even gave us some left over wraps for free to clean out the fridge. And they kept the till open so we could keep the beer flowing 8)

It was late when the last of us finally left the patio to head home. These are the kind of nights you wish could last forever. A perfect way to kick off the weekend :)

Ok it is looking like tomorrow night will be a perfect night! Trails will be drying out and should be perfectly tacky. Temperatures in the 70's. Sun does not set until 8:30p, not dark until well past 9! Man these are the nights we live for!
Oh, and did I mention that The Outback is opening up TOMORROW NIGHT. No? Well, yes. Yes it is 8) This rain is just what we needed to get the new dirt features firmed up and ready to ride :) We will finally have The Outback open again. And it will be better than ever. The TTF Crew has been busy out there, and the new entrance is going to be a blast. Can you say turning wooden features, rollers, rollers into berms, more berms, and tons o' fun. Hells yeah!
Hope to see you out there! And don't forget to leave some time for BS and beverages at CRS following. We will see who had the sweetest line through the new playground!

Dang it! Another weekly ride needs to be cancelled.
I actually had some hopes to sneak it in as we barley got any rain last night or this am. My hike late this am showed tacky dirt with little wet areas. But it is raining good right now and this afternoon looks like more wet coming.
Keep your fingers crossed for next week :P

One more week folks! That is my prediction at least ;)
Trails are still too soft and closed, so obviously no Thursday Night Rides again this week.
Lets hope I am right and we get our first Thursday Night Ride of the year on dirt in next week!
Pray for warm southerly drying winds, and minimal precipitation.

Don't think it really needs to be said, but there will not be a ride this week. Unless the bottom drops out and things freeze up it is a mud-fest out there. Its prolly going to be a couple of weeks unless we see a change in the forecast.
