It's just been announced that CORP is one of five recipients of Dane County Parks Friends Grants!
The Friends Grant Program provides matching funds to Friends groups and other nonprofit organizations to implement capital improvements on Dane County parkland. We applied for our planned improvements to the Seminole Trails, and were awarded $18,750 toward the project. The improvements include reconstructing and rerouting some sections that have proven erosion prone. In addition, while maintaining the accessibility to beginners that was part of the design of Seminole, we're planning to add some optional features that will allow beginners to improve their skills as well as appealing to more advanced riders. We're already speaking with a couple of builders, and will get more details out as they develop.

Madison Parks plans at Aldo Leopold, and progress on the Middleton/Pleasant View trailhead and pump track (look for an update on that shortly), 2021 is shaping up to be a very good year!
