An update on the fat bike race this Saturday 2/6 at Pleasant View.

Snowshoes go at 9am (5k or 10k distance).
Fat bikes go at 11am.

The course will be the same as January's event. As is the case with winter conditions, the track will not be as perfect as January (why did you miss it!), but we should be ready to go. Luckily, the late snow we got this week isnt too deep, and we're working on getting it compacted down. As a bonus, Jeff is bringing his Groominator on Friday night, so consider that a taste of what PV can be like if CORP can respond to his membership challenge.

Studded tires are ok. Tire width is >= 3.5".

Register at snowshoewi.com (or day-of). Remember a portion of your entry fee goes straight back to CORP.

Jeff brought the groominator out and polished up the course. We'll see how it sets up tonight, but I think its going to be right proper.

And I dare say, no one has ever seen the PV winter trails as wide as they are right now. Come on out and join the event tomorrow!

Just pre-rode. Laps look to be a minute or two slower because the golf course is loose but 100% rideable. The MTB trails are niiiiice.
