    Seen any good ones recently?

This looks like an intereting contraption to ride.

So I just gotta know. Is that ^ a real axe? Like a take a fall and slice yourself open axe? Or better yet, and likely with this style of bike, a go over the handlebars and split your skull open kind of axe :o
    Either way. Awesome ride 8)

The axe handle is real, the axe head is made of cardboard, filled with old socks and spray-bombed to look real - I choose life.  I do hope to get a hold of this badboy again in 6 years and ride it on Ragbrai 50!  It was made by some guys at Trek - I only borrowed it and added the * items below.  Despite the suspention fork - it was blown out, so theres a hidden radiator clamp in there making it a heavy rigid fork.

It does have some excellent features though:
    2x4 construction.
4x4 seat 'tube' (making it a whopping 6.5" wide at the seat/top 'tube' juncture)
    *Wooden Branch for handlebars
*Rotary Shifting (8 speed grip shifter mounted vertically along top 'tube')
*Water Log (aluminum water bottle painted to look like a log, mounted horizontally on top 'tube')
*Valve Stem Cover Bling (made fromteh same branch used for the handlebars)
    *Faux Axe

It's even better with some boots, cut-off blue jeans, lumberjack flannel and a hat like I saw you riding it on the MS Ride!  I don't know how you lugged that thing all those miles!

Diaperbiker was worse - blew out my knee on that bad-boy.  Singlespeed with 24" wheels and platforms - all downforce on a tank of a cruiser (~2005 Electra White Betty):

The diaper was at least a kit that kept you cooler I would imagine.  It would have looked awesome with a huge faux rattle (or axe) mounted on the front!

I did sport a pacifier, so that kept me comfortable.
