ClosedRAIN !!!
Will probably wait another week or two until it stops dropping below freezing before we blow the leaves.
Work day April 6 !! Assuming things dry out we'll work in the morning and ride in the afternoon. Bring a shovel, gloves, and your bike!

3/26/2024 6:16 AM CautionMike (the new trail steward) Doug (the new assistant trail steward?) and I went out and did a lap this morning. All the winter deadfall has been cleaned up and everything was very ridable. The leaves have not been blown off yet so it can be a little hard to follow at times, especially if you are not familiar with the trail.
I am leaving it as "Caution" because I'm not sure what effect the current freeze/thaw weather will have on it. My gut feeling is the frost is all out and although it is dropping below freezing at night, it warms up enough during the day so the frost won't set in. The leaf cover should help if it should start to get a little slimy.
So get out and give it a try if you're itching to ride dirt. Let me know or post up if it is not ridable because of frost. I will probably try to ride mid week after work and get a better feel if my gut instincts are right :)

3/17/2024 12:12 PM Partially OpenWent out and did a few laps of the south loop last night. Soil was a little damp on top of the hill in places and the downhill back by the connector, but nothing that sticks to the tires. The leaf cover also helps, although it made following the trail a litttle tougher if you're not familiar with it.
The north loop is usually a couple weeks behind the south loop at drying out so did not go over there.

3/7/2024 6:04 AM Freeze/ThawThe North loop is snow covered but very rideable. The South loop is about half snow covered, the rest is bare ground. The bare ground is leaf covered which will help when things start warming up.
Mike cleared the North loop of down trees. There is one tree on the South loop, I will try to get it this week.

2/19/2024 5:57 AM Fresh/Loose SnowThere is no grooming at the Farm. Therefore it is pretty much a no-go considering the amount of snow we just got.

1/10/2024 8:16 PM Freeze/ThawRide when frozen. Very early morning is the best time to ride. Stop if you’re leaving a rut.
Leaves have not been blown yet, making it a little hard following the trail. If somebody has the time and would like to blow them, would be appreciated.

Lots of downed trees. The south loop is trimmed and all the trees are cleared. The north loop is not done yet.
The trees were cleared on the north loop. Still needs a good weedwacking if someone has the time.

These trail conditions are updated by humans who care, and are subject to change at any time. ALWAYS use good judgment when using the trails, and don't ride if you are leaving ruts.
