Trail Description

Sycamore Park woods is a brand new Fat Bike only trail system on Madison's far east side. CORP and the city of Madison Parks have taken rogue trails and turned them into a great urban fat bike trail system. Total mileage is approx 1.5 miles. Expect varying terrain with some technical sections and decent elevation change. The system is only human-powered packed so expect some variable conditions at any time. Enter from the sidewalk on N. Thompson drive. There is a trailhead sign located at the entrance. Please do not park in the Ridgewood apartment complex, park on Wayridge dr, or better yet ride your bike there - it's on a bike path.
