Partially OpenOver Lode trail only is open. Some mud is present. When only Over Lode is open, please park on the shoulder where the trail crosses Mounds Park Rd.
Help by keeping the trails clear of sticks and loose rocks, and reporting obstacles and other issues. Check the BMSP DNR website or call the park for information on facilities, bathrooms, water access, and camping. Please carry out anything you carry in. Pets must stay on-leash, and their waste leaves with their owner. Thanks!

CautionTrails should be good to go. There is continued work on the mayors jump line and likely some work on blue dream over the next few days.
Also be aware there will be ongoing work on the Beer Cave.
Oh and join/donate to CORP if you are lovin' these trails! That's how you get more of them 😉
Remember,
social distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits. And ride with a a buff or mask for emergencies.

Fitchburg, WI -
Weather
OpenIn perfect shape. If only I was in perfect shape... Enjoy!
Thank you to all who came to the workday.
Please do not ride on the hiking trail along the lake. Fitchburg has requested this. Thank You!
Please, please, please use good judgment and don't ride if you're leaving ruts.
If you are riding out from town, Military Ridge Trail is closed from the Velo Underround to McKee Rd, but the Detour (on the Badger State Trail and McKee Rd) is well marked and not too much longer.

Under ConstructionUse good judgment and don't ride if you are leaving ruts.
Professional upgrades will start this week April 5th and take approximately a month. Keep an eye out for work happening, and please respect any trail closures. Should be awesome when it's done. Thanks to the Friends of Dane County Parks and CORP for funding;
join or donate today to keep these projects coming.
Don't forget to purchase your annual
Dane County mountain bike trail pass. This pass is required to ride at Badger Prairie, Seminole, and Camrock.
DO NOT JUMP THE CONSTRUCTION FENCING! They greased it and it’s messy. Trust me! Starting 12/7/20 and continuing for the better part of a year, the Velo Underround and portions of the Cannonball and Military Ridge Paths will be closed due to sewer main construction. Access to Seminole from Capital City trail should be unaffected. From the Badger State trail, use the southern exit ramp. It should be pretty apparent.

OpenTrails are drying out nicely.
We will be setting up a work day in the near future to clean up and fix some trail sections.
Please use good judgement and don't ride if you're leaving ruts. Please don't ride on the trails when they are wet or soft.
Reminder: the main trail is the easy route and marked with green signs. The blue sections require a little more skill. If you are unsure, walk them first and then give them a try.
