CORP has many trails that we build and maintain in the Dane county area. Use this map to explore our trail locations and learn more about them.

    Freeze/Thaw
Dirt trails will likely be muddy when it's sunny and above freezing. Don't ride them if you are leaving ruts.

Remember to purchase your annual Dane County mountain bike trail pass. This pass is required to ride at Badger Prairie, Seminole, and CamRock. You can now buy a pass at the electronic kiosk at the Badger Prairie dog park (although you will have to mail in a receipt to receive your permanent pass).

    Blue Mound
    Trail Guide - Trail Guide

    Blue Mounds, WI - Weather

    Freeze/Thaw
Don't ride when conditions are muddy after the ground thaws. Generally if the temperature has been below 25F overnight you should be good for a few hours in the morning, but if the temp hits the high 20s during the day it will turn to grease quickly.

Most trails are cleared of leaves. The new Holy Schist reroute is open, and the new work on Home Stretch is complete.

Conditions are generally updated only when there's a change. Subscribe to the forum thread to be notified of trail updates via email. Help year-round by keeping the trails clear of sticks and loose rocks, and reporting obstacles and other issues. Please carry out anything you carry in. Pets must stay on-leash, and their waste leaves with their owner. Check the WDNR website and follow all WDNR guidelines.

    CamRock
    Trail Guide - Trail Guide

    Cambridge, WI - Weather

    Freeze/Thaw
Only ride when frozen. Stop if you’re leaving a rut. A good simple guide for when trail is ridable in freeze/thaw: daytime and any sunshine, below 20 degrees; if heavy clouds, below 25; at night below 32.

The most sensitive areas will be the prairie sections and mayors playground. If the tread seems questionable then CamRock III area starting at Turn It Up is going to be your best bet.

Best times to avoid freeze thaw: sunset to sunrise (yes, when it’s dark). Worst time: Sunrise to early afternoon

With any luck we will be riding the white ribbon through the woods before long!

Good fall riding. We don't blow the leaves from the trails as we have found it beneficial to "grind the leaves in" to our sandy soils. Please use caution during upcoming freeze/thaw cycles and avoid riding if you're breaking through a frozen crust.

Trailhead move is complete, more details here.

It is freeze/thaw season so drying up will be slow and tricky. Please know the new trail work will be especially prone to damage but you can ride the pump track and firm trail sections. Best results early in the morning when still frozen or late in the afternoon if there has been some drying out. Use good judgement if you are finding more than a few muddy spots.

The Erdman Ski Trail, that connects Blackhawk to the Pleasant View/Middleton Bike Park will be CLOSED during this year's nine-day gun deer season, that runs from Saturday November 18th to Sunday November 26. For your own safety, please respect this long-standing agreement with the Erdman family. The pump track is open! There are those who would have liked to keep it closed until the surrounding grass comes in (i.e. next spring); CORP worked hard to convince those people that we could use the track without disturbing the freshly seeded grass. So please stay off the grass; failure to do so could result in the track being closed again. So enjoy, look for a grand opening in the spring, and stay off the grass!

Most of the leaves have fallen. Most trails could use another pass with a leaf blower. If you're interested in some gratifyingly quick trail work, contact Jon or William

The trailhead is moving to the west end of the parking lot; it's a slow process for many reasons, but the trails are open and could use some wheels. This also eliminates a bit more two-way trail. More info here.

    New Glarus Woods

    New Glarus, WI - Weather

    Coming Soon
CORP is working with the state DNR to develop a 8.6 mile single-track mountain bike trail system in New Glarus Woods State Park, one mile south of New Glarus on State Highway 69. IMBA Trail Solutions designed this new trail system in conjunction with CORP and the state DNR. Fundraising and construction will take place in phases, to be completed by the end of 2026, depending on funding and approvals. The total project cost is projected to be around $350,000. The first phase is a one-mile beginner trail that will be built by volunteers starting in 2024. The remainder will be professionally built in two-mile segments, with volunteer support as funding allows. Look for scheduled workdays soon. So far, $140,000 has been raised! Keep your eyes out for a fundraising effort coming soon.
