Packed SnowWell packed and riding great. Enjoy when frozen.
As a general rule, when the local temperature reaches 30F (less in direct sun), the trails will turn soft and you'll start leaving an imprint. When the trail surface re-freezes, these imprints become hard ruts and potholes which can make the trail less enjoyable and even unrideable. Don't damage the trails by rutting the thawed surface with your tires or footwear. Poor on-site conditions will always override the trail conditions posted here. Always use good judgment when deciding when and where to ride.
Help by keeping the trails clear, and reporting obstacles and other issues. Check the BMSP DNR website or call the park for information on bathrooms, water access, and camping. Please carry out anything you carry in, observe safe distancing, and keep group numbers to the minimum possible. It should go without saying that pets are expected to stay on-leash, and their waste leaves with their owner. Thanks!

AwesomeDon’t ride when temp is over 30 degrees. It will be a warm week. BUT almost every inch of CamRock is groomed to perfection right now, either machine or by hand. Awesome volunteers like Gene Gowan have even groomed the berms by hand! Let’s hope it holds through this next system. It has been a great couple of weeks!
Please be aware of the new trail work and trail additions; oh and join/donate to CORP if you are lovin' these trails! That's how you get more of them 😉
Remember,
social distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits. And ride with a a buff or mask for emergencies.

Packed SnowFreshly groomed (Thanks Jeff!) and fantastic....at least the groomed trails.
Please, please, please use good judgment and don't ride if you're leaving ruts. If it is 30 or above, it is likely too soft.
Avoid parking at trailhead if the lot is full. Also, please don't park in the neighborhood next to the trails. The idea is to park somewhere else so there won't be a crowd and you won't be giving anyone a reason to complain. Or ride over, it's easy to get to the park from almost anywhere in the area via bike routes. Thanks!

physical distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits.

Packed Snow Both loops are rolling good and well packed in.
DO NOT JUMP THE CONSTRUCTION FENCING! They greased it and it’s messy. Trust me! Starting 12/7/20 and continuing for the better part of a year, the Velo Underround and portions of the Cannonball and Military Ridge Paths will be closed due to sewer main construction. Access to Seminole from Capital City trail should be unaffected. From the Badger State trail, use the southern exit ramp. It should be pretty apparent.

social distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits.
