Whew that was a good one, about a dozen riders showed up, highlights include:
- Civil war reenactors on the trail
- Heckling dozens of roadies on a Rapha group ride as they passed through our party stop in the tunnel.
- Bill getting aggressively hit on at Bennett's
- Steve supporting everyone with his Big Dummy decked out with a side car that carried a full sized cooler
- Malort (some of even grew to enjoy it)
- After a few easy years we finally got some classic BALLS weather, constant cold rain from Monroe to Darlington
- Lots of friendly spectators reminding us how ridiculous it was to be out there in the first place
- Staying more-or-less together the whole time, we didn't really split up until Dodgeville on the second day.
