Tacky, but rideable. Enjoy!

Jeremy Witek and his crew has started to build trails on the west side. Please use caution when riding there, and please respect the "trail closed" signs.

We've gotten great feedback on the change to 1-way trails. We'll be working on the new Springs Trail this fall to improve the tread. Please be patient.

Please see: social distancing for an important update about a new club policy regarding parking.

Blue Mound
Trail Guide - Trail Guide

Weather in Blue Mounds, WI

Open
All trails are open and in great shape.

Use good judgment when deciding when and where to ride. Over Lode generally dries up first after rain events. Contact us on Facebook or at bluemoundstewards@madcitydirt.com to report any issues. You can also help by keeping the trails clear of sticks and loose rocks.

Check the BMSP DNR website or call the park for information on bathrooms, water access, and camping. Please treat the park as you would any public space that you want to remain open. Carry out anything you carry in, observe safe distancing, and keep group numbers to the minimum possible. It should go without saying that pets are expected to stay on-leash, and their waste leaves with their owner. Thanks!

Great weather, hero dirt, new trail features, what are you waiting for 😎 Please be aware of the new trail work and trail additions; oh and join/donate to CORP if you are lovin' these trails! That's how you get more of them😉

Note extra busy times on Wednesday from 6-7:30p, and Saturday from 9a-11a for CamRock Climbers NICA practice. Riders of all abilities will be spread out from all three CamRock parks. Some other teams use the parks as well, but we do not always know when that will be. We will post up if given notice. Please give those younger shredders some leeway.

FYI: if you’re driving 90 west towards Chicago, the exit is CLOSED when trying to head to Cambridge. There is reroutes. Follow the signs.

Remember, social distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits.

Doug S. mowed the Connector (Thanks Doug). I walked the South loop last night and cleaned up smaller debris. North loop should be OK, but could still use a walk thru. IIRC there are a couple bigger ones that need a chainsaw, planning to ride Thursday night and check it out.

Not sure anyone notices, but Randy and William continue to fix and tweak. Big up to the volunteers! Stay tuned for a fall work day and consider pitching in. Your trail stewards are happy to meet and do some social distanced trail care training.

Still some weed trimming to do if you have time. If you'd like to help, go here to get started.

Pump track and jumps are excellent. Get out there.

In an effort to spread themselves thinner in the name of social distancing, small groups from the West Composite NICA team may be using the park on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:00 and 6:00. If you are riding then, keep an eye out for increased traffic and offer words of encouragement as they learn about the triumphs and tragedies of rocks and roots.

Remember, social distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits.

Quarry Ridge
Trail Guide - Trail Guide

Weather in Fitchburg, WI

Open

Heads Up, busy tonight with the NICA kids and coaches will be on the trails in smaller pods(about 20 people) from 5 to 6pm Monday thru Thursday from Aug. 17th through Oct23

Avoid parking at trailhead if the lot is full. Also don't park in the neighborhood next to the trails. The idea is to park somewhere else so there won't be a crowd and you won't be giving anyone a reason to complain. Or ride over, it's easy to get to the park from almost anywhere in the area via bike routes. If you can't do that, find someplace where you'll have plenty of space, like the Fitchburg Movie Theatre, which is now out of business.

Remember, physical distancing is still important on the trails. Be respectful of other users and ride well within your limits.
