Middleton, WI - Weather

Freeze/Thaw
The trails are in amazing condition, if you ride early while temperatures are still well below freezing. Twist and shout is a bit icy on the early rollers, howling wolf is primo. Creek side boardwalk is losing snow quickly. East connector is in good shape- not sure about west or switchbacks. PLEASE don't ride on any ski trails with mud on your tires -- mud does not mix with ski wax. Good support underneath with a top layer of squish. Best to go early or late in the day

Grooming report: All trails were groomed on Monday, Feb 22 (thanks to Brandon). For more info see https://www.madcitydirt.com/index.php?topic=4323.0

Special updates: PLEASE stay off all of the man-made snow and only cross xc ski trails at marked crossings. If in doubt, ask. For more information about fat biking please read: Fat Bike FAQs

Riding tip of the day: If you're racing Hugh Jass, please be courteous when crossing trails.
