Saturday June 11, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, we are celebrating Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day at Blackhawk Ski Club. The trails there are excellent for kids of any age who are new to mountain biking, and there is plenty to keep those who are not so new interested. It is an open house, so folks without memberships are welcome to sign a waiver and try out the trails. The format will be pretty informal; group rides and instruction will happen based on willing leaders and interested followers.
If you are interested in helping lead things, reply here. If you know some kids you would like to introduce to the sport, bring them out. Rain or shine event; biking movies in the chalet if the riding isn't so good.
