8:00 am to noon on Oct 1.  There is a lot of debris and a couple trees down from the recent storms, so we'll be doing some clean up, as well as some end of the year trimming as needed to get the place looking spiffy for Sunday's Bash.  We have a new monster blower to try out, if that is an incentive for you.  If we get enough help, we will be finishing the west end of the Creek Trail, so that you will stay in the woods on single track behind the biathlon range.  The sippy-hole at the other end of that trail is a project for another day, but if we get some dry fall weather, that may be rideable again soon.  Meet down at the bottom of the hill by the big barn.

Thanks to everyone who showed up!  The trails were in as good a shape as the weather allowed for the Bash, and we got more than half of the corridor cut for the Creek Trail extension.  If you have some time and want to help out for a bit, that corridor is in need of sod and honeysuckle root removal, so you can hack at it for a while anytime; it's a good stress reliever!  The mosquitos aren't as bad as they have been, but you will still want some spray.

The next workday will be October 22, 8:00 am till noon.  Finishing the Creek Trail, probably blowing some leaves, maybe doing some finish work behind Chad.  Capital Brewery left us some refreshments, so you won't go home thirsty.  With any luck, this weather pattern will have ended and we'll have more typical excellent fall riding.
