The next public meeting will be on Tuesday December 1st starting at 4:30PM. It will be held at the same place as the previous meeting, Mount Horeb High School.
The word we have at this time is the meeting will again have poster presentations, but this time they will show three different alternatives for future development of Blue Mound. The public will be allowed to vote on which alternative is the preferred way ahead. The public vote is to assist the DNR in determining which alternative will be presented to the Natural Resources Board for an up or down vote. Note that originally the DNR stated that public comment would be allowed at this meeting. It is not clear that this is still true.
We have not received information about what the three alternatives are. We're not sure if voting will be allowed via electronic media. The news just arrived, and we will post details as they become available.

Update: DNR official Paul Zajackowski stated the public hearings will allow for speakers from the public. Registration will be taken at the meeting. Time allowed will be determined by the available time and the number of people wanting to speak.
