As you may know, we are working on building a new uphill climb near the ambulance trail. A final plan is not in place yet, but we have some general ideas of where the trail is going to be. The problem is there is so much brush that it is difficult to see the terrain to determine the best route.
The purpose of this workday is to clear invasive species in the area of the new trail. We will cut the brush and then move it out of the way into piles. We won't be doing any dirt work, just preparing for future workdays. I could use a few people to help.
I will be at parking lot at 8 am on 5/26. We will then head back to the toolbox, grab a few tools, walk up to the trail, and get to work. If you arrive late, you can find us on the ambulance trail. The trail page describes the location if you are not familiar with Quarry Ridge:

Gloves, pants, water, and bug spray would be a good idea, and possibly a long sleeve shirt. There may be poison ivy in the area, so minimizing exposed skin may be best.
We will wrap up before 11 to avoid the mid-day heat, and earlier if we get enough done.
