Dear trail lover,

Please get August 6 - 9 on your calendar and help with a major boost in our trail inventory. Top trail pro Chad Landowski will do 4 days of machine work and we need volunteers to work with him hand finishing miles of new trail. The results will be amazing! You can be a link in the chain that makes it happen.

Details: Chad plans to work Thursday - Sunday 9 AM to 7 PM as best and much as weather and circumstances allow. Please use the Signup Genius form to help us plan and coordinate. Hike or ride West of the original bike park to help. Tools will be at work site or in the Pleasant View tool shed. Status for late afternoon and evening volunteers 8/6:

The trail work is at northwest corner of the property where prairie, ski trail and new single track are. AKA the by snowshoe or horse trail. See yellow are in map attached. There are tools there. Please work at finishing the new trail cut today. Listen for the machine and Chad or Patricia will supervise.

Today's work starts in same area circled in yellow. As of 10 AM the crew reports getting to the north part of that yellow circle near rock outcrops. As work progresses crew will move to the inner or upper loop shown in the map or to some open prairie areas you cross on the way out. Weather will determine the tasks at hand.

We'll do our best to keep communicating and posting status here. That and we hope to see you out helping! Imagine completing Pleasant View by Sunday night!

Sunday AM will start in northwest part of the area circled in yellow. With one day left and a chance of rain we'll move east to fix up and finish elements of the original design. Following the single track and ski trails west will get you to the work location or locations.

We're doing our best to keep it going rain or shine and will report here if weather changes our plans.
