Since Randy has moved before any trimming got done, I was wondering if someone else would be willing to step up and organize a trimming day at the Farm.
I've been going out after work this past week or so and picking away at the south loop. Finally finished up last night. The south loop is trimmed and all the trees are cleared. We just need the north loop done yet.
I know I am probably not going to get at it again for at least the next couple weeks.

They were supposed to start today, but likely didn't due to rain.  Completion date is scheduled for mid-September, but possibly sooner if they get good weather  We'll post more details once they do get started.

I rode the trails Thursday and noticed some new Berms on the backside blue loop on the first u-turn. I didn't see a post for this and would've loved to help with it.

They still need to be packed down so please message me when whoever did it plans on finishing them. Also thanks for clearing the brush on the sides of the blue trails too.

We need a crew to trim back the farm. Would like to get a good number so we can knock it all out quick and then ride. Anyone willing should email randy.williams@madcitydirt.com. We can schedule once we see who all is interested.

I could help trim Tue 8/1 between 9-4
    Or Sat 8/5 between 6-9pm

Tonight's ride is on with two changes. 1) Lots of new trail features. 2) Debut of the 2023 Trailhead Ale made just for us.

We got a tremendous amount of work done over a couple days, thanks to volunteers Randy, Carl, Dave, William, Scott, Ryan, Ron, Tom, and Jon, and especially Jeff for running the mini-excavator for two days. It's looking to be super fun to ride. We even had time to get some weed-trimming done (though there is more of that to do, if you're looking for some volunteer time).

Keep in mind that, until they get ridden in, the new work will dry slower than the established trails; if you are out and find that you are leaving ruts, please bypass them on the ski trail.

Enjoy! And look for more volunteer opportunities in the future.

Capital Brewery is once again supporting CORP with a special brew; Trailhead Ale is now available now through mid-September, and a portion of all sales will be donated to CORP.  It's a bit of a late start, so you best have two!  Only in the Beer Garden.

I recently moved from Madison to Albany WI and have found myself riding less trails due to the increased travel time. I don't really have ties to the area and I'd love to make some friends down this way. Anybody ride down here?
I like to ride a few times a week and I'm flexible on timing and pace.
Occasional Carpooling would be great but I'd certainly settle for simply meeting some riders from the area. I'm closest to QR but prefer to mix up my riding destinations often so let me know if you'd like to meet up sometime.

Group ride for 7/18 is on. See trail conditions for more info.
