in Group Rides, Bike Trips, and Events

It was uuuuge!
Dang that was fun! Another fantastic Thursday Night Ride. A really fun bunch of people. And really cool to see new faces all the time.
The group was big enough we split into three at times. We have everything from the hard-chargers to the "tootling" group. Of course the weather was amazing. Trails were in great shape. A couple spills ensued. Then we retreated to the CamRock Micro Pub for some awesome Blue Cheese burgers and libations. And more hi jinks ensued. Some dancing even broke out spontaneusly.
So much fun!
The rag-tag bunch that generally "leads" this ride are taking a break next week to spend time with family on Thanksgiving. But if someone wants to lead, or just have a meet-up time for the ride, post up and I will get the FB announcement up.

I believe the pub menu for tonight is Blue Cheese burgers!

Get you and your friends out for what well could be the last warm night ride of the year!
And leave some time in your schedule for some "hangin' out" time afterwards at the CamRock Micro Pub.

Dang that was a fun night! A real fun bunch of folks out for the ride. Enough we split into a couple of groups at times for the hard-chargers and those on a little slower pace. Then we all met back up for the ride back. A number of new faces.
Cool to have a bunch of the Janesville crew join in as well. And there were at least as many folks out on the trails that weren't with our group. 
Lets do it again next week!

It is going to be an amazing night for a ride! Hope you can make it out for the ride and a post-beverage as well. The CamRock Micro Pub will be open with the Pub Menu! Post up if you need a light. CamRock has a couple they can loan.

Bummer but the ride is great off tonight. Trails are still too soft. Too much rain at the wrong time. And the ground is pretty saturated with this whole wet season.
Hopefully we will get back on track next week. Or we will do a non-trail ride!

Dang. Yet another Thursday that the trails are questionable to be open
I should be able to check them and get an update up around 2:30. Keep fingers crossed!

I hate to say it but with well over two inches of rain, drizzle still coming down, and cool and cloudy weather predicted for tomorrow, it does not look like the trails will be open for riding tomorrow night  :'(

And CamRock Sport will be open if you want to head down. They will have chili cooking. And the Thursday Night Football game on the big screen. You could also still do a rided, just not on singletrack 
I plan go stop by CamRock Sport after the CORP meeting.

In case anyone is wondering: There will definitely be a slower group riding tonight. I am nursing a sprained thumb, and trying to ride fast just plain hurts. And at least one other casual-paced rider will be in my rolling party. Feel free to join in in party :D

It is going to be another great night for a ride! Cool fall weather. Leaves coming down. And with the dry weather the trails are the best they have been in weeks!
Following the ride CRS is going to make some special Rueben sammy's! Beverages will be poured. And the Packers will be facing off against the Bears at the CamRock Micro Pub. Oh yeah it is going to be a good night  8)

Now that was a fun ride! Perfect fall weather. It is awesome to ride in the cool weather. Steam coming from your breath. Leaves turning amazing colors. A super bright moon. Clear skies. And werewolves jumping out from the dark corners.
Yes werewolves! Some dude in full dress scared the bejeesus out of Mr. Repyak That was good for some laughs.
And the beverages were flowing and the barbecue sliders were awesome.

Though a wee bit on the cool side, it should be a great night for a ride. Perfectly clear skies. Trees turning. 3/4 moon. This is fall riding folks! Put on those arm warmers and get out here!
