With all of the rain and wind, the trails need a little polishing. Instead of the typical social ride on Wednesday, join in for an hour or so of trail work at 6 pm, then enjoy a beer or go for a ride. CORP will provide the tools. Bring water (extra bottles will be available), gloves, and probably bug spray. We will meet at the park shelter at 6 sharp; if you're late, find us on the trail.
The goal is to fix the wet spots by adding drainage so the trails will dry faster (and we can ride sooner) after rain. Others can walk through the trail with saws/pruners to cut back overhanging branches, and others can remove annoying stumps... With a big enough group, we can cover most of the trails within an hour and tackle the most annoying problems.
