I was out at Blue Mound today.

The park management has delivered a huge pile of gravel for us to use for turnpiking the beginner section.

We used up a pile 1/3 the size of this one in about 1.5 hours with 6 people. I really, really need a better turn out this time! Please consider coming out to help if you can.

My son and I will be there.
    Bring it on!

Is this the same basic area we worked on last time?

    Hi Kris,

We will be in the same area, and will pick up where we left off. The repair we did at the last work day looks and rides with excellence.

A HUGE thank you to all who turned out today.

Aaron, Nate & Katie Woolever, Rich, Kris and Kyle, and William.

The turnpike didn't cover the entire area that gets wet. We used up 3 small dump truck loads of gravel for ~60 yards of trail. I don't know much about building road beds, but this one just feels solid underfoot. Massive. Like it could be there for a long, long time.

    Thank you,
    Walt
