I stripped out the threads on the receiver for the adjusting bolt on one of my rear avid single digit 7 v-brake arms (the part that you use to adjust the tension on the spring). The cost for the replacement part is nearly as much as a new brake set. Does anyone have an old Avid 7 or 5 laying around I could purchase? Better if you have a broken one with one working arm.
