in CamRock (Moderator: TheMayor1)

On the Monday Night Ride and Folly last night we came upon the step-up section of the Outback. It was flagged off and being worked on. Seems like some good work being done, but I am not aware of it.
Please let me know if you are aware of who is doing this work so that we can get coordinated on it. If you want to keep off the public forums send me a message or call me at 7:seven:to 7:eight eight:3.

This was slated for a wooden feature but that has been put on hold. Could be Dave R.

Yeah, that was me. Spent 4 hours on Sunday rebuilding it. The wood under what was left of the dirt was rotten so I used a boulder base and 7 wheelbarrows of dirt. That's just the start.
I blocked it off until some rain can get on it and tighten it up.  It will need 3-4 more wheel barrows of dirt to complete.
I think we're better off building jumps from dirt because its much easier to tweak dirt than woooood.  :P

Just plain sweeeeet is the best description I can comeup with. Absolutely perfect.
With the mods Dave did you can keep more speed down the  hill. I think the new thing will be to see how much speed, and therefore air you can get off that jump. The trajectory is perfect. The launch and landing are smooth as silk
