in Beginners, Newbies, Noobz, etc (Moderators: imwjl, TheMayor1)

Hello!  I am going to be in the Madison area next week (9/14 - 9/17) for work.  I should have evenings free and would love to find some trails to ride.  I have never ridden anything in the Madison area and need some advise.  I am a middle of the road rider as I can ride some technical stuff but as I get older I don't quite have the confidence to ride some of the things I did when I was a bit younger.  Anyway let me know what I should definitely ride or what I might want to skip.

I will be near Verona.

For a beginner experience check out Seminole. If you want a little more challenge, try Quarry Ridge. Both trails are right by Verona.

With a bit more drive, try out pleasant view. It's a lot of fun with something for everyone.

There are even more trails in the area with a little more distance. The latest conditions page also has links to the trail guides. Just click on the name of the trail to see them.
