in Trailbuilding and Advocacy

The fun will be beginning soon. With the forecast for next week I would not be surprised to be riding dirt next week at CamRock! Though as we know spring weather is fickle

But when the snow melts, we get the opportunity to improve and add to trails we all love to ride. Here are the Trail Days planned for this spring season:

Please plan to come out and join us and add to the bounty of fun to be had on dirt in Dane County. As always, the folks who get involved with building and maintaining trails get the most say in how those trails are developed and improved

Riding next weekend at CR? What?

I have the 31st on my calendar.

Well Chuck and I will head out and check out CR. I predict with thaw and drying out it will be at least 2 or so weeks before we ride anywhere.

Temps in the 50's and 60's with wind will certainly help!

Everyone shout out if they check the trails.

It wouldn't hurt to have people walk the trails and pickup sticks/blow off trails if it dries up a little. We don't have to wait till the end of the month to be cleaning up.

Just keep off the trails on foot or bike if there wet.

We need to specify which day, Saturday or Sunday, is the day for trail work.

I'm using Saturday for both of my exclusive weekends.

Chuck, I'll let you pick first for our shared weekend.

Walt, once you have the dates figured out with Chuck will post the CR dates in that specific sub-forum. Also is anyone interested in making a trail day list/poster to distribute around? Namely I am volunteering to do this, I'd just need board approval to get them printed and then I'll get 'em distributed to the local smokies.
