-I finished cutting weeds on Pokerville. There are several places that aren't perfect, but I think I'm done with weed cutting for 2013. Yay?
-I hope to get some trail repairs done before the end of the year. There are so many places that need work, the mind boggles. Today I worked for an hour near the trail head on the beginner section. Several pedal catcher rocks were whacked with a sledge hammer. I started filling in holes that have developed around the culvert. A number of roots were severed mercilessly with a Pulaski.
-I'm hoping to have a BBB event at Blue Mound, but have not settled on a day.
-There were lots of riders out on the trails today. The weather was gorgeous. Mosquitoes are present, but not as numerous as earlier in the summer.
-If you are good with riding there, I would like to have many more wheels on Pokerville to establish the tread. There are long stretches where it still doesn't look much like a trail. That makes me sad.
