Leaves are gone from the beginner section, Chert Dip, Serpentine Climb, and the first half of Holy Schist. The trees still haven't shed most of their leaves so the trails won't stay clear long, but I was there to meet with some DNR people in the morning and used the afternoon for trail work.
Craig Anderson and Nate Faryram, staff ecologists, looked over the never-completed Holy Schist reroute and the next ~1/2 mile of Pokerville with me today. I don't get a peek at their report, but it will go toward completing the variance we need to move forward with new trail work at Blue Mound.
